Bailey boot FAQ's

No. Within the world of footwear, the designation of 'waterproof' carries certain testing requirements that we have not obtained. However, due to the construction and materials of our Bailey Boot, our real-world wear testing has shown these to handle water very well. The leather is rich in oils and finished with waxes, which provides a difficult surface for water to penetrate.

The total thickness of the sole, referred to sometimes as 'stack height,' is about 23mm. That includes the thickness of the insole.

Yes. The sole thickness is constant from heel to toe and that includes the insole.

Yes!

Yes!

Yes! The 360 stitchdown construction makes for a boot that is resoleable.

Yes. These boots have a cushioned insole and also get some cushion from the blown polyurethane outsole.

No. Our insole and footbed are flat.

Our Bailey Boot is wide, but not crazy wide. It will be wide enough for most people to allow for their toes to lay in a natural position.

Compared to barefoot and minimalist shoes that feature a wide toe box, the Bailey is wider than most, but not the widest.

Compared to US standard widths, our toe box leans toward a 4E in width.

First pair / Size 14 - Canyon Teal / Worn one week straight

Howdy, y'all!
After two years of barefoot shoe experience I found the perfect boots, literally the holy grail to me!
A long way of try and error, because I have very wide and flat feet.
My last boots/shoes are the "Realfoot" and the primal/wide ones from "Softstar".
But really hard to find really rugged boots with all the barefoot components.
But I can't walk&stand all day on concrete with the ultra thin soles of the most barefoot shoes.
So, Texarado is the real deal, just awesome!
My biggest foot is 29 cm long with thick toe socks and measured in the evening after a long day on feet.
So I ordered a size 14 and wore them one week straight.
On the photo you can see I have about over 1 inch toe room.
It's a lot, but it's working - good for long
work and hiking days I think.
My next pair will be a size 13, still plenty of toe room.
I will let you know how that works.
Hope the review helps some of you to choose the right size.
Cheers,
Tim from Germany

more tacky-positive grip & slightly more toe-splay room

They seem to be even”more anatomical” slightly “more ergonomic”I don’t know if it has to do with the tread last & new tread outline, but the soul is definitely more grippy-tacky and positive ground contact. More toe-splay or gently oblique. To fit a range of normal human, healthy feet🦶🏼foots👣:)more-bio mechanically correct. The Buffalo hide-is rugged yet very pliable, me personally I didn’t need any break-in Time. They were comfortable right out the box immediately. “TO SUM IT UP”these are the best boots on the market today. And I consider myself a connoisseur of footwear.”that are rugged with a spacious toe-box and a heel that is leveled with the magnetic field of the Earth.(they call it zero drop-same distance from heel to-toe or level-ground. I am close to 70 years old.-these boots would be excellent in the military, Law-Enforcement, landscaping, construction, and warehousing”things that I have done in my career that I can verify and authenticate” if I had such a boot is this’ I would not have Toe problems, back problems, knee, and heel problems, BECAUSE THESE BOOTS WILL ALLOW YOUR FOOT TO OPERATE AND FUNCTION AS THEY WERE INTENDED.Now I’m just-waiting on dedicated hiking boots and safety toe boots:)

These feel like very high quality boots

These feel like very high quality boots. I am excited and i hope they break in well. They seem like the right size for me but they are slipping a little bit on my heel, probably because the sole is somewhat rigid. They are heavy, but that makes sense with the materials used. I have not had a pair of shoes that requires breaking in in a long time, So far they have been comfortable if i wear them for low impact use, but the first time I wore them for yard work with lots of walking it made my heels sore.

The new soul- tread is excellent❗️outstanding‼️

These boots are 100% legitimate-truth.” AS FAR AS FOOTWEAR 100% 💯 shaped to fit a range of human beings feets 👣 & 🦶🏼foots. COMFORTABLE : )They don’t really need to even be broken in’ yet they are rugged,” modern-stylish & retro-classic design-contemporary” “ RELEVANT” now I’m just waiting on the hiking boots. Although these easily can be used for that. “ it’s easy to make disingenuous statements.” THIS IS NOT THE CASE WITH THIS FOOT WHERE THESE BOOTS ARE REAL BOOTS THAT ARE REAL COMFORTABLE-AND RUGGED WITHOUT EXAGGERATION. in the photo, the one with the dark green laces are the new tread-design.

These are my second pair of boots. I love the wide toe box and they are made of real materials. Since these are my second pair I know how to break them in. They fit perfectly. And they are super comfortable. I stand nearly all day for my job and my feet do not hurt at the end of the day. These are well built and should last for a very long time.
