Named after our hometown, Bailey, Colorado.
Features:
Our Bailey boot is an extremely versatile, well-rounded, active boot. A great chore boot, capable of adventure.
Fit:
This boot uses our Free Range™ Original last for a snug fit through the midfoot and heel with enough room for the toes to lay naturally.
Sole:
Excellent traction on both smooth surfaces and dirt.
Hexagonal lugs are optimized to shed dirt and provide traction in every direction.
Note on texture:
The texture of the bison upper will vary from boot to boot. The boots you purchase may have a heavier or more mild texture from what is pictured.
Our ultra-wide toe box gives your toes the freedom to relax and lay as they naturally should. Your feet will have protection, not restriction.
Our boots feature a flat sole with consistent thickness from heel to toe. This promotes better movement patterns through a natural posture that starts with your feet.
Our custom Free Range™ last is designed around the natural shape of the foot. This gives our boots a more anatomical fit that will feel great from the moment you put them on.
Our premium rubber outsole provides excellent traction on both smooth surfaces and dirt. With a hexagonal lug pattern, you'll have grip in every direction. It’s slip, oil, fuel and acid resistant, antistatic, and has been independently tested to ensure superior performance.
Our boots offer a snug fit through the heel and midfoot while providing ample room in the toe box for natural toe alignment. Your foot will stay where it should and your toes will lay how they should.
Our boots are built with quality, rugged materials for durability in tough outdoor environments. The 360 stitchdown construction means that they are resoleable.
No. Within the world of footwear, the designation of 'waterproof' carries certain testing requirements that we have not obtained. However, due to the construction and materials of our Bailey Boot, our real-world wear testing has shown these to handle water very well. The leather is rich in oils and finished with waxes, which provides a difficult surface for water to penetrate.
The total thickness of the sole, referred to sometimes as 'stack height,' is about 22mm. That includes the thickness of the insole.
Yes. The sole thickness is constant from heel to toe and that includes the insole.
Yes, our rubber outsoles have achieved the highest level of slip resistance according to two independent institutes and European standards.
Yes! And not just that, but also acid resistant, fuel resistant, and antistatic.
Yes! The 360 stitchdown construction makes for a boot that is resoleable.
Yes. These boots have both a cushioned insole and midsole.
No. Our insole and footbed are flat.
Our Bailey Boot is wide, but not crazy wide. It will be wide enough for most people to allow for their toes to lay in a natural position.
• Compared to barefoot and minimalist shoes that feature a wide toe box, the Bailey is wider than most, but not the widest.
• Compared to US standard widths, our toe box leans toward a 4E in width.
